Decided to upload this guy. The demo was never finished, and I felt like “finishing it” the best I could. My recording gear is non-existent. I’m using the built in mic on my Dell, and Audacity - a free recording program. 99% was done at The Pilot Studios, but I added a bunch of harmonies that we had done on the album version, and also just fooled around with other little harmony ideas.
Someday, Ill get around to finishing new songs in studio, but for now this will do.

A Perfect Circle announced a tour today. Im not particularly a fan, but I do respect them, esp Maynard. I’ve always loved this cover of “When the Levee Breaks” and its been in my head all day. It’s really a beautiful rendition by them. I love adding some blues/psuedo blues and jazziness to these kinda tunes. I did 2 takes. The 1st didnt want to sync correctly for some reason, so you get stuck with this ;)

here’s something i just recorded. I have the melody recorded and the subject i want to write about but no words yet. this is just some fun for me. ive been really into singer-songwriter style for a few months. just stripping everything down and just being out there. i kept the slop, the mistakes; theyre all in there. its just how it should be for the feel im goin for. The chorus will infact repeat the song title “oh well” if thats any indication as to how it would sound.
the volume will likely be low as its a cheap and free program that i use…and its past 11pm in my hoboken apt.
